Bill schedules a question and answer period at the beginning of each clinic day. He welcomes questions from auditors and participants during each session. He highly recommends that the Horsemanship 1 participants watch Horsemanship 2 sessions. He, also, strongly encourages auditors to watch his clinic from the beginning of the first day to the end of the last day.
Bill is a great communicator, generous with his time, gives you clear directions and realistic goals to work toward for your next clinic.

Introductory Horsemanship: Combines an explanation of Bill Scott’s philosophy, history of this type of horsemanship and equine psychology. Bill will demonstrate how to advance from the introductory level forward. You and your horse will begin a solid ground work program and progress to under saddle all the while enhancing the mental connection between you and your horse.
Horsemanship 1: You begin with groundwork and will be introduced to advanced horsemanship maneuvers through out the clinic. This session is where everyone begins. Maneuvers learned in this session are the foundation of all advanced movements.
Horsemanship 2: Bill Scott will advance you to this session when you are ready. You must be able to maintain brief vertical flexion, sustain a controlled canter, ride with a loose rein, and able to do some lateral work (leg yield, side pass, etc.) This session will work on more advanced movements, carrying softness, flying lead changes but with much emphasis on strengthening the mental connection between horse and rider.
Private Clinics and sessions are available on an individual basis. Please email your request.
Horse Training: available on an individual basis. 90 days preferred. Please email a brief history and contact information.
